Research facilities
Alkem Laboratories’ research and development center has filed over 140 ANDAs with the FDA in the US, nearly 60 products with the TGA in Australia, approximately 30 products for the EU and many dossiers in other countries such as Brazil, South Africa, Canada, Chile and the rest of the world. Alkem Laboratories is committed to introducing innovative, state-of-the-art products and developing complex niche products. The product range includes solid and liquid oral drugs, controlled substances, complex generics, topical, injectable and transdermal products.
API
Alkem Laboratories researches, develops and manufactures high quality Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). Its comprehensive process analysis and safety assessment tools ensure that the highest international regulations, compliances and standards are met.
Our products
Alkem Laboratories’ research centers focus on the development of specialty products with new dosage forms or repurposed indications as 505(b)(2) for the US and India. Differentiated products such as nasal sprays, oral sprays, topical lotions, transdermal patches, oral film strips, osmotic drug delivery systems, MUP etc.
Center for Bioequivalence and Studies
Alkem’s Bioequivalence Center is an independent clinical research facility that exceeds global standards. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with 112 beds, a dedicated emergency department and a well-equipped bioanalytical laboratory.
